Incoming travel health insurance for foreign guests
Foreign guests need meaningful insurance cover during their stay in Germany. This insurance must comply with the visa requirements (Schengen Visa) of embassies, consulates and immigration authorities.
Do you expect visitors from abroad? Long-term travellers, language students, students, au pairs, work and travel participants or interns - you should take out incoming travel insurance for foreign guests. With the incoming travel insurance, foreign guests are insured for their holiday in Germany or in another host country.
The insurance cover for your visitors from abroad includes, for example, outpatient treatment and medically prescribed medication and dressings. In this way, your foreign guests are optimally protected by the travel health insurance.

Incoming-Kranken-Versicherung:
Bei Krankheit oder Unfall übernimmt die ERGO u. a. die Kosten für im Gastland medizinisch notwendige Heilbehandlungen sowie einen medizinisch sinnvollen und vertretbaren Krankenrücktransport an den Wohnort im Heimatland bzw. das dem Wohnort nächstgelegene geeignete Krankenhaus.
Incoming-Komplettschutz:
Beinhaltet die Incoming-Kranken-Versicherung sowie eine Reiseunfall-Versicherung (Versicherungsschutz besteht bei Unfällen im Gastland, die zu einer dauernden Invalidität oder zum Tod führen. Versicherungssummen: Tod € 10.000,– / Invalidität € 20.000,–) und eine Reisehaftpflicht-Versicherung (Versicherungsschutz besteht für Haftpflichtrisiken für Personen- und Sachschäden während des versicherten Aufenthaltes. Versicherungssumme: € 500.000,– pauschal).
Höchstversicherungsdauer:
Die Höchstversicherungsdauer beträgt maximal 1 Jahr.
Verlängerung der Aufenthaltsdauer:
Eine Verlängerung des Versicherungsschutzes bis zur Höchstversicherungsdauer kann nur innerhalb der Vertragslaufzeit und mit Genehmigung durch das ERGO ServiceCenter erfolgen.
Gastländer:
Als Gastland gelten alle Staaten der Europäischen Union (EU) sowie Island, Liechtenstein, Norwegen und die Schweiz. Als Gastland gilt nicht das Land, in dem die versicherte Person ihren gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt hat.
